VinyLoop® is based on the concept to extend the lifecycle of a product. It gives unused and valuable resources a new life and prevents valuable plastics being disposed to landfill or incinerated. Waste becomes a valuable raw material resource.
A recent Eco-Footprint Study proves that VinyLoop® has a lower environmental footprint than PVC Compound produced in conventional route. The methods of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) have been used in this study and it has been critically reviewed by DEKRA.

The environmental footprint is a measure of the environmental impacts arising from the life of a product in regard to its benefit. It includes all stages from extraction of raw materials until the gate of the factory, which is called Cradle to gate.
The VinyLoop Eco-Footprint Study compares the environmental burden and benefits of 1 kg (functional unit) of PVC compound produced in the conventional route with the production of 1 kg of PVC compound via the VinyLoop process.
Each kg of PVC compound recycled in the VinyLoop process prevents 1 kg of PVC produced through the extraction of raw materials and avoids the incineration at its end of life.
