Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in Electrical and Electronic Equipment

Solvay Specialty Polymers is committed to full compliance with the European Parliament Directive 2002/95/EC and its amendment 2005/618/EC, Restriction on the use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment. The purpose of RoHS is to remove a total of six substances – lead, mercury, chromium VI, cadmium, PBB and PBDEs – from electrical and electronic equipment.

Although RoHS is a European Union (EU) Directive, manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment outside of Europe must abide by this legislation if the equipment they produce is ultimately imported into an EU member state. In an effort to support our customers, Solvay Specialty Polymers is posting our RoHS compliance letters on our website so that all of our customers can easily gain access to them at any time.

Solvay Specialty Polymers: RoHS Compliance Letters

If you can not find a RoHS letter for the product(s) your company purchases, please contact Migdalia Alvarado. Please specify the full name of the product you are purchasing including the color designation.
