KetaSpire® PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is one of the industry’s most chemically resistant plastics and offers excellent strength, superior fatigue resistance, and a continuous-use temperature of 240°C (464°F). Glass fiber-reinforced and carbon fiber-reinforced grades provide a wide range of performance options for demanding applications.

Unfilled KetaSpire® PEEK resin is available in low, intermediate and high melt flow grades. Product is supplied in a natural-color pellets. Other available colors are noted on individual data sheets.

Glass fiber reinforced grades of KetaSpire® PEEK offer higher strength and stiffness than unfilled PEEK. They also deliver greater mechanical robustness in structural applications, particularly those with service temperatures approaching 300°C (572°F). Low and high melt flow grades are available.

Carbon fiber reinforced grades of KetaSpire® PEEK provide the maximum levels of mechanical properties at temperatures approaching 300°C (572°F). Plus, they exhibit the lowest coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE) of any KetaSpire® product. Low and high melt flow grades are available.

Wear-resistant grades of KetaSpire® PEEK provide an effective all-plastic alternative to more complex metal-based designs with rolling components for high-temperature friction and wear applications in lubricated and non-lubricated environments.

Natural-color coarse powders of KetaSpire® PEEK are available in low, intermediate and high melt flow grades. A natural-color fine powder is available in a low melt flow grade that is suitable for compression molding.
