30% carbon fiber, low melt flow for extrusion and injection molding | Mechanical Performance at High TemperatureHigher Stiffness than PEEK from 150°C to 190°C (302°F to 374°F)
AvaSpire AV-651 has a modulus twice that of unfilled PEEK at 180°C (356°F) and AV-651 GF30 is 30% higher than comparable PEEK material at this same temperature. Improved Ductility and ToughnessCompared to unfilled PEEK, unfilled AvaSpire 600 Series products exhibit 20% higher tensile elongation at yield. Tensile elongation at break values are at least twice as high as comparable PEEK grades. Improved Flame Retardancy Improved Flame Retardancy enables unfilled AvaSpire 600 Series products to attain a UL 94 V0 rating at 0.8 mm.
Chemical ResistanceAV-600 products offer chemical resistance that is better than PEI, with most grades being nearly equivalent to that of PEEK.
