Galden® PFPE

Fomblin® PFPE lubricants, oils, greases, and emulsions are ideal choices for high technology applications including extreme vacuum, PV manufacturing tools, clean room robots and solar tracking systems.

Oils: Fomblin® Y LVAC and Y HVAC grades are ideal for use in vacuum pumps as sealing and working fluids, especially in those systems exposed to aggressive gases. Fomblin® PFPE specialty lubricant grades are designed for oxygen handling and lubrication of oxygen pumps and liquid compressors.

Greases: Chemically inert Fomblin® PFPE lubrication greases are recommended for applications requiring resistance to corrosive or oxidizing substances. Solvay also offers a line of excellent base oils for high temperature and high performance greases.

The availability of additivated Fomblin® PFPE fluids widens the range of applications for perfluorinated oils and greases in fields demanding high anti-rusting properties: lubrication of turbine and liquid compressors.

Solar and photovoltaic cables require demanding performance. Solvay 'ambient cure' crosslinkable HFFR materials as Cogegum® GFR, Polidiemme® are ready-to-use on conventional extruders.

Solef® 80 000 series expanded PVDF is ideally suited for semiconductor or solar thermal applications such as pipe, pump or manifold insulation, or tube supports for the rooftop system.

Thanks the inherent advantages of a high performance fire-retardant, UV resistant, insulating foam, a pipe system can be easily and efficiently insulated and simply maintained.

The molding technology allows for extremely complex systems to be molded in one shot using aluminum tooling for cost effective manufacture.
