A presentation by M. Roland Dewitt about the main activities of SOLVAY in bio-based products and the works in progress in standardisation and in the field of biopolymers and bio-based products, including their labeling, has been done during the General Assembly of ValBiom in Gembloux – BE (April 28th 2010). Among the SolVin projects, the Bio-based PVC has been presented highlighting its lower environmental impact and negative CO2 footprint.
