Fluorolink D10 H and Fluorolink E10 H are Solvay Solexis’ fluorinated reactive additives specifically designed for the modification of polyurethane, polyester and epoxy resins.
They are one of the most critical requests of markets such as Paint, Leather & Textiles, Surface Treatments and Rubber: they enhance the substrates’ properties without modifying the typical characteristics of the material itself.

Fluorolink D10 H and Fluorolink E10 H are fluorinated diols whose chemical chain can bond as readily to the polymers’ structure as conventional additives but, thanks to their very high fluorine content, are also able to decrease the surface energy and the coefficient of friction, as well as offering outstanding water repellency and soil/stain release properties to the substrates.

Even when present in low amounts, Fluorolink D10 H and E10 H are able to migrate toward the surface improving the final surface properties, making them suitable for various applications:
• Coatings requiring water repellency, anti-graffiti, anti-fouling properties, etc.
• Finishing treatments for leather and textile requiring water repellency and soil/stain release
• Synthesis of elastomers requiring reduction of stick/slip phenomena, decrease in noise emissions and improvement of chemical resistance (seals, gaskets, rolls, strips, etc.)
• Modification of fibers and filaments to achieve better intrinsic water repellency and soil/stain release.
