Thermoformed Trays, Boxes & Doses

Rigid or semi-rigid PVC, based on the use of homopolymers or a mixture of homo- and copolymers, is used in the manufacture of thermoformed film. PVC is valued for its good mechanical properties, high clarity without defects, good hot melt fluidity and for presenting no danger to human health.
Thermoformed film is manufactured by calendering thin sheets followed by embossing (with or without vacuum).

Today, all-round thermoformed rigid packaging solutions using controlled atmosphere (MAP) are protecting fresh, processed and convenience food such as meat, sausage, cheese, pasta and much more. Very often safely closed with
Diofan® PVDC coated lid films.
