Pipes & Fittings

In-house gas transport using plastic pipes is spreading worldwide supported by international standards. PEX pipes are certified to distribute gas.

Polidan® PEX silane cross-linkable compound, show:
• Very low permeability to combustible gas and to its smelling components
• Superior mechanical resistance which make possible its use for indoor gas pipes.
Polidan® PEX materials offer superior processing stability allowing high precision pipes tollerance

Solef® PVDF is a semi-crystalline, melt-processable fluoropolymer that offers excellent resistance to household and construction chemicals as well as barrier properties to hydrocarbons and oxygen. It has exceptional performance in long-term hydrostatic strength and a successful history in highly demanding applications in the oil & gas industries and well as in domestic water supply applications for more than 20 years. For almost 10 years it has been used for domestic gas fittings.
