Solvay has developed a proprietary technology to recycle complex PVC wastes as flexible PVC coming from cables, tarpaulins or flooring.

The resulting product, Vinyloop® R-PVC, presents the following characteristics:

• good quality consistency
• relatively stable price: to the contrary of plasticizers and PVC resins, it is far less dependent on raw material  prices

Two means exist to adapt the product to customer requirements:

• Adaptation of the Shore A Hardness : addition of plasticizer to increase the softness
• Addition of  a colour masterbatch to  get a more regular grey to dark color
