Vinythai focuses on the production and supply of PVC (suspension and emulsion resins), VCM and Caustic Soda in South-East Asia. The plant is located in Map Ta Phut (Thailand) and has a PVC capacity of 280,000 tpa.

Vinythai ‘s major shareholders are the Solvay group of Belgium, one of the world leaders in the petrochemical industry, PTT Chemicals of Thailand and the Charoen Pokphand group of Thailand The Company has been listed in the SET since 1995.

In 2008, Vinythai recorded total revenues of 13,232 MTHB, with a net profit of 1,035 MTHB, 381 MTHB increase from the year before that posted a net profit of 654 MTHB.

• PVC Pastes & specialties
  Pastes for spreading, coating or moulding, fillers for lowering paste viscosity and ageing and latex, solvent-free paste used as a component for inks and varnishes.
• Suspension PVC
  For rigid or plasticized applications

  Strong base soluble in water produced by the electrolysis of salt brine
