Silane Crosslinkable HDPE

The expertise gained, in the last 30 years, on Silane crosslinkable HDPE  - PEX compounds for pipe & fitting and Low Smoke Halogen-Free-Flame-Retardant (LS0H), both thermoplastic & silane crosslinkable (XL) , flexible XL-Elastomer , XLPE, 'ambient curing' & environment - friendly compounds for cables, has enabled us to diversify into compounds for processing techniques such as injection and blow-moulding, heat shrink applications, conduits, profile, trunking, foam, flexible hoses and other applications.

Our Moisture 'ambient curing' crosslinkable technology is ready to use on standard extrusion lines: The silane crosslinkable compounds are a two-component system consisting of a graft co-polymer and a catalyst masterbatch, which are premixed at the processing stage, Crosslinking take place under ambient conditions and is normally accelerated by the incorporation of the catalyst masterbatch and exposure of the finished article to high temperature and high humidity.

All our Silane crosslinkable compounds comply with the RoHS requirements.

Cogegum®: Silane crosslinkable and thermoplastic Halogen Free Flame Retardant compounds for sheathing and insulation of cables where high safety is required in case of fire. These materials exhibit high resistance to mineral oil, fuels, alkaline and acid fluids, crude oil and drilling mud.
  

Polidan®: Silane Crosslinkable polyethylene compounds for Pipe & Fitting and Wire & Cable solutions.
 

Polidiemme®: Silane crosslinkable elastomer compounds for flexible power cables where temperatures between – 50°C to + 125°C are required.
